Looking for a Cube monitor cable for '030 cube, don't mind if it's short or
long version. Also looking for optical drive (doesn't need to be functional
but would prefer if it was) and cable, and cosmetically good, electronically
dead MegaPixel display - mine has a cracked casing. Display ideally should
be NE England or Carlisle/SE Scotland, since I don't want to risk it being
trashed by couriers (again?).

Cable is the important bit, though ;)

I'm using this as connection from cube to soundbox. (Monitor is on dimension)

It's a bit short :/

Yargh, he has 4000As for $29. Being in the UK is a real PITA.

I've acquired a 'broken' 4000 display, to swap cases, but they are very
different internally and of course, the 4000A has the microphone on the
front. The 4000 is probably the more 'correct' monitor for my 25MHz '030
cube, though.

Turned out not to be dead, though of course, it is dim.

Distressing how they made these things. They're /evil/. You have to remove
the tube to get to the soundboard, and the 4000A isn't making a noise when I
boot the NeXT - I can see the connector for /something/ isn't connected, but
getting to it? Not a chance! I even managed to tweak the 4000A to be a
little brighter, too.

Back to figuring out how to netboot a NeXT from a Mac :(
