This is a copy of Mathematica 2.0 for NeXT computers. This item is for
the NeXT collector. It is in excellent condition and includes the
following items.

Hmm, were you the original owner of this software, or have the
paperwork of transfer of the license? Otherwise it definitely is only
a bit of collectible ephemera - it will never actually run (unless
there's a hack of some sort that I haven't read about), because the
license key and password are tied to the actual hardware and must be
generated by Wolfram. Maybe they can be convinced to sell a 2.0
license...

You need at least a licence-number (wich should be printed on the
floppy-disks), than you can try
http://register.wolfram.com/
for a Web-registration. This has worked with my second hand copy of
Mathemathika 3.0. (Maybe they are very generous if they read the target
"NeXTstep")

It is possible to bypass the Wolfram key scheme by temporarily changing
the hostid - if you have the hostid of the machine the license was issued
for. The necessary steps were posted on usenet long ago.
